Based in Canada, Polyair Inter Pack manufactures protective packaging products, including bubble cushioning, mailers foam and air pillow systems.

Mondi has acquired a 96% interest in Suez Bags for EGP284m ($15.88m) to expand its business in Egypt.
Following the acquisition, Suez Bags will be integrated into Mondi’s Fibre Packaging business.

Precision Poly is a provider of flexible packaging solutions such as food-grade and industrial co-extruded blown film bags and rolls.
The acquisition is expected to strengthen plastic product maker Transcendia’s material science expertise and services in active packaging and engineered films for food and beverage applications. It also adds multi-layer blown film technologies to the company’s product portfolio and expands its sales channel to distributors.
Indorama Ventures (IVL) has entered an agreement to purchase Sorepla Industrie, a recycling firm based in France.
Based in Thailand, IVL will acquire a facility comprising recycled polyethylene terephthalate (rPET), recycled high-density polyethylene (rHDPE) and food-grade pellet production lines with a combined capacity of 52,000t a year.
The acquisition will strengthen IVL’s position in the European recycling market and enable the company to meet the growing demand for food-grade rPET.
Sealed Air Corporation has completed an acquisition of AFP, a packaging solutions provider.
AFP manufactures protective packaging solutions such as foam, moulded pulp, corrugated boxes, cases and case inserts, as well as crates and pallets for retail and direct-shipping purposes.
The acquisition will expand Sealed Air’s packaging solutions portfolio and design capabilities.
Both the companies involved in the acquisition are based in the US.
