M&As this week: Perlen Packaging, Pregis, Imperial Bag & Paper

Swiss paper and packaging manufacturer Perlen Packaging plans to acquire a 60% stake in Sekoya Indústria e Comérci.

Swiss paper and packaging manufacturer Perlen Packaging plans to acquire a 60% stake in Sekoya Indústria e Comérci.

Perlen Packaging is a division of CPH Group, while Sekoya is a Brazilian distributor of CPH’s packaging products.

The transaction will enable Perlen Packaging to improve its supplier flexibility and expand its business operations in the Latin American market.

“The acquisition will strengthen Imperial Bag’s operations in the mid-Atlantic region.”

US-based protective packaging materials sourcing company Pregis plans to acquire UK packaging company Easypack.

The acquisition will improve Pregis’ product portfolio and establish its presence in the European distribution network.

Paper and plastic packaging products distributor Imperial Bag & Paper has acquired PCA Industrial & Paper Supplies, a paper and facility cleaning maintenance products provider.

The acquisition will strengthen Imperial Bag’s operations in the mid-Atlantic region.

Both the target and the acquirer companies are based in the US.
