Stone Canyon Industries (SCI) has acquired Industrial Container Services (ICS) from Centerbridge Partners through its subsidiary BWAY Holding.
The $1bn acquisition will enable the companies to deliver sustainable packaging solutions to their customers.
The existing ICS equity holders will hold an approximate 11% stake in BWAY, under the agreement announced in June 2018.
Based in Florida, ICS provides container solutions and management systems.
AptarGroup has completed an acquisition of CSP Technologies, a speciality protective packaging solutions developer based in Alabama, US.
The partners will collaborate on the development of value-creating, differentiated solutions for the packaging industry.
Announced in July 2018, the $555m acquisition will support AptarGroup’s business growth in Asia and other markets.
Headquartered in Illinois, AptarGroup provides a range of packaging, dispensing and sealing solutions for the beauty, home care, personal care, food and beverage markets.
Ecoplast Kunststoff-Recycling has been acquired by polyethylene and polypropylene producer Borealis.
The acquisition will expand Borealis’ mechanical recycling capabilities.
Both the companies involved in the transaction are based in Austria.
Berry Global Group has acquired Laddawn.
Berry is an engineered materials and plastic packaging products manufacturer and distributor, while Laddawn manufactures blown polyethylene bags and films and operates an e-commerce sales platform.
Both companies involved in the transaction are based in the US.
The acquisition will allow Berry to sell its engineered materials and other products on Laddawn‘s online platform, as well as expand Berry’s core films business.
Graphic Packaging International has agreed to acquire Letica Foodservice from British plastic packaging supplier RPC Group for $95m.
Based in the US, Letica Foodservice is engaged in the production of paperboard-based cold and hot cups and cartons for the North American foodservice market.
