Pro Mach division Matrix is set to introduce two new Morpheus form/fill/seal (f/f/s) models at Pack Expo 2017 to be held from 25 to 27 September in Las Vegas, US.

The first machine, Morpheus XL, is capable of producing pillow bags within the 2in to 15in range, approximately 3in wider than the original model.

Designed to operate in intermittent and continuous modes, it can produce around 120 bags a minute, as well as gusseted bags.

Matrix claimed that the new model with improved capabilities can replace slower and older machines, thereby reducing capital investment.

The Morpheus XL exhibits a redesigned stainless-steel drip pan for faster replacement of forming tubes and keeps the interior of the machine cleaner.

“The new model with improved capabilities can replace slower and older machines, thereby reducing capital investment.”

The other machine, Morpheus f/f/s, comes with Beckhoff or Rockwell Automation control architecture.
