Mikart, a contract development and manufacturing organisation, has purchased a packaging machine from Spain-headquartered horizontal form, fill and seal machines solutions provider Flexpack.

The new Flexpack NF-150 Horizontal Sachet-Packaging machine will be used by Mikart for clinical and commercial manufacturing packaging.

The machine will allow Mikart to address the growing demands of its customers.

This latest strategic investment marks a key milestone for the company towards achieving its commitment to improve its overall production capabilities to deliver pharmaceutical products.

Mikart CEO Micheal Kallelis said: “We believe that our investment in the Flexpack NF-150 marks a pivotal moment for Mikart’s capabilities expansion plan.

“The sachet packaging capabilities was done as a result of customer demand and will enhance our packaging capabilities, allowing us to deliver a wider packaging offering for the pharmaceutical products we manufacture.”
