Mimaki is set to launch multiple innovative digital print-and-cut solutions for short-run and customised labels and packaging.
The company has decided to introduce the solutions at Labelexpo Europe 2017 to be held in next September in Brussels.
Mimaki Europe general manager Ronald Van den Broek said: “Brands are increasingly looking for ways to differentiate labels and packaging for better market performance.
“While this is an effective approach for brands, it can put strain on conventional labels and packaging workflows due to the shorter runs and faster time to market these strategies demand.
“Plus, there is a growing need for fast production of samples and mock-ups to speed the design process.”
Mimaki will demonstrate its UJF-7151plus device, which has been designed to create high-quality nameplates suitable for industrial marking or placarding.
A compact UV LED direct-to-object printer, it uses the latest technology to provide a reliable digital solution to conventional screen print operations.
The company will also exhibit the CJV150 Series integrated printer / cutter solutions that deliver high-performance with different ink types as a cost-effective solution for label printing.
It will also address digital direct-to-corrugated printing at the show.
Van den Broek added: “With the combination of the Mimaki UJF-6042MkII printer and the CFL-605RT cutting table, operations can quickly and affordably create corrugated items, from boxes to in-store displays, featuring stunning graphics sure to draw attention.”
The UJF-6042MkII flatbed LED UV printer offers a maximum print area of 610mm x 420mm and ensures higher productivity and efficiency in direct-to-corrugated printing.
It is also suitable for other labels and packaging applications such as creating signs and displays.
Mimaki also noted that it will exhibit Kebab solution that is competent to provide an affordable direct-to-object 360º printing.
It is expected to show the Kebab option to print on glass and plastic bottles using the Mimaki UJF-3042MkII flatbed LED UV printer.
