Irish food wholesaler Musgrave Group has renewed the product lifecycle management (PLM) solution deal with Trace One.

The renewal will allow Trace One to continue its management services for Musgrave's private label ranges, from ideation and specification management through to final packaging and approval.

"We believe this gives us the perfect base of knowledge and talent to work with Musgrave."

The implementation will allow Musgrave to work with multiple local suppliers and ensure seamless brand management.

It is also expected to preserve market reputation for the firm along with its increasing consumer trust.

Musgrave has been working with Trace One since 2011, using its PLM solution to develop and launch the SuperValu private label range, which now has expanded to include 1,800 lines.

Trace One global business development EVP Shaun Bossons said: "Trace One powers the world's largest network for the FMCG industry with more than 20,000 companies worldwide, helping them to easily collaborate with partners, comply with the latest regulations and exceed industry standards on quality and provenance.

"We believe this gives us the perfect base of knowledge and talent to work with Musgrave, to help them collaborate more effectively with partners and further engage with consumers through innovative new ranges."
