Reusable transit packaging specialist Packaging Services Europe (PSE) has made an undisclosed investment in a 30,000ft² site in Leeds, England, UK.
The investment will enable the company to provide its wash, inspect and repair services across the country.
The development at the site is set to be fully operational by the end of next month and the investment will initially create up to ten new jobs.
Leeds is the fourth site to add in PSE’s network, following the launch of the company’s sites in Nuneaton, UK, as well as Belfast and Dublin in Ireland around a year back.
Packaging Services Europe co-founder Jane Gorick said: “We promised our customers when we launched that we would deliver, quickly, a comprehensive network of wash and repair facilities.”
“PSE Leeds is a similar size to Nuneaton which means that the network has capacity to take on much more business, particularly relevant at a time of significant growth and development for PSE.
“Its strategic location means we can further support asset utilisation and product lifespan solutions.”
Established last year, PSE currently provides various washing and repair services to a variety of sectors including FMCG, automotive, engineering, and retail.
Earlier this month, the company won ISO 22000 food safety management accreditation, a quality management system for the food industry that validates the company’s commitment to reduce and eliminate food safety risks in its pallet wash operations.
