Global flexible packaging company ProAmpac has further strengthened its committed sustainability by joining the Association of Plastic Recyclers (APR).

APR represents companies who acquire, reprocess and sell the output of more than 90% of the post-consumer plastic processing capacity in North America.

The national trade association supports the recycling of all post-consumer plastic packaging.

The partnership will allow ProAmpac to continue to grow its ProActive Sustainability platform towards a more circular economy.

It will also enhance its position to help customers meet their sustainability goals.

ProAmpac chief commercial officer Adam Grose said: “This step furthers our ProActive Sustainability initiative, a companywide commitment to developing and innovating sustainable flexible packaging products, as well as promoting sustainability in our manufacturing sites and the communities where we operate.
