Flexible packaging company ProAmpac has enhanced its manufacturing capabilities with the acquisitions of three private-based packaging products manufacturers in Canada.

The private businesses are Rosenbloom Groupe, Hymopack and Dyne-A-Pak.

Financial details of the transaction are not disclosed.

Rosenbloom Groupe, Hymopack and Dyne-A-Pak supply products including paper bags, plastic bags and can liners, and foam packaging trays.

The companies serve North American retailers, grocery chains and quick service restaurants (QSR), wholesale distribution companies.

With the acquisition of Rosenbloom, ProAmpac now operates 35 sites globally with nearly 4,600 employees. It will serve more than 5,000 customers across 90 countries.

Following the deal, Rosenbloom Groupe’s will continue to operate in Canada and will maintain its manufacturing facilities.

Based in Cincinnati, ProAmpac manufactures flexible packaging specialising for consumer, healthcare, e-commerce, retail, and industrial goods markets.

In September this year, ProAmpac partnered with manufacturer Metropolitan Tea to launch ProActive Compostable package.
