Packaging machinery solutions provider ProMach has opened a new facility in Corona, California, to upgrade and expand multi-brand manufacturing and customer support in the Western US.
The new 81,000ft² South California facility will also handle aftermarket parts distribution, and factory acceptance testing (FAT).

It will serve as a hub for fabrication and assembly of Pacific fillers and filling systems, as well as Zalkin Pack West brand inline capping machines. Both Pacific and Zalkin are product brands of the company and were previously manufactured at separate facilities in Southern California.
Pacific Packaging Machinery is a provider of precision-engineering, rotary, and inline liquid filling and capping machines, while Zalkin performs capping, cap sorting, cap feeding, and de-capping operations.
Both product brands moved into the new plant from separate facilities in Southern California.
The new plant will house ProMach Performance Services in the West for integrated solutions, design build, engineering, and productivity software.

ProMach Filling Systems vice-president and general manager Mark Vanzant said: “ProMach Southern California is a springboard for growth. It brings services closer to customers in the Western US and improves and expands our manufacturing, customer support, and product demonstration capabilities.”
The plant, which currently employs more than 50 staff, has a new manufacturing shop, a FAT area, as well as distribution capabilities for aftermarket parts.
Promach offers customer support services for Pacific and Federal filling systems, Zalkin capping systems, PE Labelers North America, and Axon sleeving systems.
Through its packaging solution brands, ProMach offers services to manufacturers in the food, beverage, pharmaceutical, personal care, and household and industrial goods industries.
Services offered by the company include filling and capping, flexibles, pharma, product handling, labelling and coding, and end of line.
