Rapak offers Strivo in size options of 0.5in and 0.25in for aseptic and extended shelf life (ESL) applications. The BIB products can be personalised to be adjusted into any size tube of the dispensing machinery.
The cost-effective product is also expected to be a solution for the complex connectors available in the market.
Flexible packaging and filling systems Rapak is a business unit under the plastics division of UK-based DS Smith. It intends to showcase Strivo at PackExpo this year in Las Vegas, Nevada, US.
The flexible packaging and filling system manufacturer had also come up with a bag for oxygen sensitive products, including fruit puree and smoothies. Developed with a clear high-barrier film, the bag can be used as an alternative for the metalised film bags which are conventionally used for food packaging.
