Rebound has partnered with the CPA to strengthen efforts in standardising plastic recyclates, a press release published via Zawya has said.

The collaboration, announced at the 28th Conference of Parties, also aims to drive the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the global community towards unified material standards.

This alliance between Rebound and CPA will focus on developing data analytics and insights, specifically regarding material volume estimates in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region and the UAE.

It will leverage Rebound’s expertise in global trade to promote sustainable packaging solutions.

CPA chair Priya Sarma said: “We firmly believe that collaboration is not only crucial but integral to achieving a circular economy. Our partnership with Rebound will leverage the expertise of our organisations to accelerate the adoption of sustainable packaging solutions, paving the way for a more sustainable future.”

Rebound, defined as a ‘Knowledge Partner’ to the CPA, will offer its insights on the quality of global recycled plastics and infrastructure.
