Packaging machinery firm Rotoflex has secured a contract to supply die-cutting machines to label printer firm N & R Labels.
Label and printing system provider SArepco will provide the Rotoflex DSI die cutting machine to be installed at the N & R facility in Cape Town, South Africa.
Rotoflex director Ralph Beier said: "After spending four days in the SArepco stand at Gapp Print Expo, it was evident that owner Paul Bouwer has established a very professional and effective organisation.
"In operation for over 30 years, the SArepco team is highly technical and knowledgeable regarding the products they represent.
"The team is very connected to the South African industry as proven with the steady flow of companies to their stand that own product represented by SArepco."
A compact footprint machine, the Rotoflex DSI die cutting platform offers servo-driven accuracy for die cutting and rewinding, and speeds up to 1,000fpm (305m/min).
The machine features separate servos for capstan stripper and matrix rewinding, a slitting tension zone, outside supported unwind and rewind shafts, the integrated URC 2.0 control system, and eDrive 2.0.
The DSI is configured to run in inspection mode with a Unilux LED2000 series inspection strobe light.
It efficiently performs slitting, rewinding and inspection of finished label rolls, as well as die cutting.
