Packaging machinery firm Rotoflex has secured a contract to supply die-cutting machines to label printer firm N & R Labels.

Label and printing system provider SArepco will provide the Rotoflex DSI die cutting machine to be installed at the N & R facility in Cape Town, South Africa.

A compact footprint machine, the Rotoflex DSI die cutting platform offers servo-driven accuracy for die cutting and rewinding, and speeds up to 1,000fpm (305m/min).

The machine features separate servos for capstan stripper and matrix rewinding, a slitting tension zone, outside supported unwind and rewind shafts, the integrated URC 2.0 control system, and eDrive 2.0.

The DSI is configured to run in inspection mode with a Unilux LED2000 series inspection strobe light.

It efficiently performs slitting, rewinding and inspection of finished label rolls, as well as die cutting.
