RPC Superfos has developed a clearer brand display for Orkla Foods Norway’s Nugatti chocolate spread.
The latest packaging design includes RPC Superfos’ injection-moulded polypropylene pot, which can be seen in the three new variants of the hazelnut bites spread.
The product will also be available in a new 350g pack along with the earlier version of 500g.
The new packaging of the smaller pot is expected to appeal to consumers and lead to increased sales. The two packs feature Nugatti branding in coloured backgrounds to separate them from other varieties in the collection.
Orkla Foods Norway purchasing director Jan Sævareid said: "Though our brand has been the consumer’s preferred choice for decades we know that we must constantly develop and renew our products to earn customer loyalty. That is why we present new varieties every year and work on improving our packaging solutions."
The new packaging solution is also believed to offer logistical and financial benefits, with both pots sharing the same sized lids.
