"Speed-to-market is of the essence and RPC Superfos has reached all important milestones according to plan."

The new packaging of the smaller pot is expected to appeal to consumers and lead to increased sales. The two packs feature Nugatti branding in coloured backgrounds to separate them from other varieties in the collection.

Orkla Foods Norway purchasing director Jan Sævareid said: "Though our brand has been the consumer’s preferred choice for decades we know that we must constantly develop and renew our products to earn customer loyalty. That is why we present new varieties every year and work on improving our packaging solutions."

The new packaging solution is also believed to offer logistical and financial benefits, with both pots sharing the same sized lids.
