US-based flexible packaging products manufacturer StarPak has announced plans to expand its facility in Houston, Texas, to support future growth.

The company will add 150,000ft² of manufacturing space for installing W&H machinery to expand the facility’s capacity.

The machinery includes a VISTAFLEX press and two MIRAFLEX II presses, as well as a VAREX II blown film line.

Currently operational, the 67in, ten-colour VISTAFLEX press has line speeds of up to 2,625ft/min.

VISTAFLEX helps accelerate production and can ready and store up to five more jobs even when the press is working.

The MIRAFLEX II presses are equipped with advanced automation for quick, waste-minimising setup and job changes.
