France-based Laboratoire SVR has chosen Aptar Beauty’s Micro 30ml rPET, a recycled and recyclable airless packaging solution, for its new PALPEBRAL collection.

The decision aligns with SVR’s corporate sustainability goals and its commitment to product responsibility and circularity.

With the integration of recycled materials, Aptar Beauty provides sustainable versions of its top-selling product ranges, including its Micro airless solution, which now comes with a container fully made from recycled PET (rPET).

The Micro packaging is claimed to be compatible with a range of formulas while ensuring product safety and protection through its airless technology.

The range is available in sizes from 15ml-50ml with a 300cl dosage and comes in various shapes, materials, and customisation options to meet desired brand aesthetics.

Recycled materials are typically greyer than conventional resins, but Aptar Beauty’s industrial experts have colour-matched the pink colour of the PALPEBRAL range with the container while maintaining the translucent impact of the resin that hints at the formula within.

SVR launched the PALPEBRAL Baume range in October last year.

Aptar Beauty EMEA marketing director Magdalena Kaminska said: “SVR was looking for a recycled and recyclable packaging capable of both protecting and highlighting the formula, without compromising the look and feel of the product.

“The Aptar Beauty Villingen teams in Germany addressed this challenge and managed to lower the CO₂ [carbon dioxide] emissions by 52% thanks to this rPET container.”

In November last year, Aptar Beauty launched Mono Micro, its first monomaterial airless dispenser
