Switzerland-based Bobst has introduced its new vacuum metalliser, K5 Expert, for the packaging industry at the recently concluded K Show fare held in Germany.

The newly launched metalliser is equipped with automatic sequential control (ASC) as well as waste-reducing technical solutions and other technologies from Bobst.

Compared to other vacuum metallisers, K5 Expert provides a 25% lower total cost of ownership (TCO).

In addition, Bobst has also launched its new AluBond process, which provides high metal adhesion and surface energy levels.
