UK-based retail packaging firm The Wilkins Group has procured a foil blocking machine to bolster turnaround speed and meet growing customer demand.
The company invested in the MasterWorks MK 1060 ST automatic foil stamping press that has the capacity to run at more than 7,000sph, reported Packaging Europe.
It is expected to reduce transport time and costs, while helping the company produce packaging at a quicker pace.
The Wilkins Group sales and marketing director Justin Wilkins said: "There has been a shift in the market, where once high quality attractive packaging was reserved for the cosmetics and garment industries.
"Now all sectors want unique, innovative packaging and we need to be able to offer that service.
"We have invested in this machine to not only offer a high quality product, but to increase efficiency and lower our carbon footprint.
