Timeless Skin Care and TerraCycle partner for recycling programme

Skin care solution provider Timeless Skin Care and international recycling firm TerraCycle have partnered to launch a national recycling programme.

Skin care solution provider Timeless Skin Care and international recycling firm TerraCycle have partnered to launch a national recycling programme.

The partnership is part of Timeless Skin Care ‘s commitment to enhance its sustainability efforts.

Based in California, the company launched the Recycling Envelope programme on 3 August across the US, where it has more than 220,000 customers annually.

Under this programme, Timeless Skin Care will recycle up to half a million containers that are used in packaging some of Timeless Skin Care ‘s most popular products.

TerraCycle , which has most of its packaging in glass, will collect and recycle the 2 Eye Serums, the Hydrating HA Sprays and the customer favourite, 20% Vitamin C + E Ferulic Acid Serum.

TerraCycle recycles more than 97% of the waste that it collects.

Timeless Skin Care CEO and founder Veronica Pedersen said: “We are committed to minimising our carbon footprint through initiatives like Terracycle.

“Sustainability, along with clean, concise formulas, are very important to our customers. TerraCycle is the perfect partner to assist us in continuing our efforts to care for the health of our skin and the planet.”

To participate in the free programme, Timeless customers can fill a simple form to receive the free envelope and mailing label. They can fill the envelope with up to three Timeless plastic products and ship.

Recently, US grocery retail chain Kroger partnered with TerraCycle to launch a new recycling programme for flexible packaging.
