Toray Plastics (America) is set to unveil its new Torayfan OPP and Lumirror polyethylene terephthalate (PET) film technologies at the upcoming Pack Expo International 2016.

The event will be held in November at McCormick Place, Chicago, Illinois, US.

During the event, the company will showcase Torayfan CBS2, a PVdC-free oxygen and moisture-barrier BOPP film that can be used as the inside sealant web for snacks, cookies, crackers, granola, fruit / nut mixes, and confections.

Furthermore, the company’s LumiLid portfolio of lidding films will be exhibited at the event.

The films are available in metallised and bio-based formats for trays, including PP, APET, CPET, and can be used for refrigerated and frozen items, side dishes, dairy items, fresh and dried foods.

The Torayfan Over-the-Mountain portfolio of biaxially oriented polypropylene (BOPP) films have been developed to prevent packages from bursting when they are shipped through adverse conditions.
