TricorBraun acquires rigid packaging firm The Packaging Design Group

Rigid packaging manufacturer TricorBraun has entered an agreement to acquire US-based company The Packaging Design Group (PDG).

Rigid packaging manufacturer TricorBraun has entered an agreement to acquire US-based company The Packaging Design Group (PDG).

Under the terms of the agreement, PDG will be assimilated as another division of TricorBraun with access to all its resources.

The contract also covers the acquisition of PDG's UK-based wholly owned subsidiary Packaging Design.

After the acquisition, the company will continue to operate under its current name.

Founded in 1995, PDG provides packaging solutions to the pharmaceutical, personal care, and food and beverage industries, among others.

TricorBraun offers packaging options, including bag-in-box packaging, digital labels, drykeep desiccant materials and sprayers, as well as SprayGuard packaging for spray-on products.

The company primarily focuses on packaging for personal care products, cosmetics, healthcare products, food and beverages, and industrial and household chemicals.
