Global packaging company TricorBraun has bolstered its operations in Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) through the strategic acquisition of UniquePak and Alplas Products.  

UniquePak, based in New South Wales, is known for its distribution of high-quality glass packaging solutions catering to various industries, including spirits, wines, pharmaceuticals, and food.

Following the acquisitions, all team members from UniquePak and Alplas will continue their roles within TricorBraun.  

The businesses will initially operate as UniquePak, a TricorBraun company, and Alplas Products, a TricorBraun company.  

They will gradually transition to the TricorBraun ANZ brand. 

The financial details of the transactions have not been disclosed.  

Canterbury Partners served as the financial advisor to TricorBraun for both deals. 

TricorBraun ANZ managing director Andrew Allsop said: “These acquisitions broaden our capabilities for spirits and industrial packaging across Australia and New Zealand. The UniquePak and Alplas teams are highly respected for their expertise, focus on quality, and customer service, and we look forward to investing in their continued growth.” 

Since its foundation in 1902, TricorBraun and its management teams have acquired and expedited growth for 44 packaging companies globally.  

The company established its presence in the ANZ region with previous acquisitions, including Cormack Packaging in 2021, PB Packaging in 2022, and Plas-Pak WA earlier this year.
