FlexiTubes, a packaging tube division of Indian packaging company UFlex, is set to showcase its sustainable solutions at this year’s Cosmoprof Italy event in Bologna.

The company has developed solutions that enhance product presentation and elevate the consumer experience, it said in a press note.

At the upcoming B2B event, FlexiTubes will showcase a range of eco-friendly tube options, which combine advanced aesthetics with superior barrier properties.

The tubes are designed to feature anti-counterfeit features along with sustainability innovations that align with growing environmental concerns within the beauty sector.

FlexiTubes’ options will involve paper-based, recyclable, and biodegradable tubes.

FlexiTubes provides 360-degree packaging solutions with HD graphics achieved via rotogravure reverse printing.

The solutions are available in a variety of finishes such as matte, gloss, dual matte-gloss, and holographic metallic.

The solutions reduce plastic usage without compromising on key attributes such as moisture vapour transmission rate and oxygen transmission rate.

FlexiTubes also offers customised barrier solutions tailored to meet the specific requirements of each beauty product.

In a separate recent development, UFlex’s fully owned subsidiary, Flex Middle East, FZE, Dubai, established a step-down subsidiary called Flex Films AZB AFEZCO in Azerbaijan earlier this week on 17 March.

The company was set up to manufacture biaxially oriented polypropylene packaging films in the country for the domestic and European markets.
