US-based Pro Mach is set to debut its new shrink wrap and bundling machines at Pack Expo, which will be held in Chicago next month.

The Shrink Systems Group machines include wrapping and bundling solutions from Texwrap and Tekkra, respectively.

Shrink Systems Group vice-president Eric Vorm said: “Both Texwrap and Tekkra are exceptional organisations and having both under the same roof is driving product and service innovation.

“We know from recent discussions that the advantages of a single, trusted source for shrink systems, backed by ProCustomer aftermarket, appeals to manufacturers, co-packers, and distributors.

“That appeal will certainly be evident to every visitor to our exhibit at Pack Expo.”

Part of Texwrap’s Spartan series of wrappers, the new 1607SS machine is a continuous motion, side-seal and centre-line wrapper.

Featuring Texwrap Motion Trim technology, the machine is designed to wrap up to 60 packages in a minute.

Pro Mach said that the flexible wrapper is suitable for various customers including contract packagers, who require a stand-alone system with simple line integration.

Texwrap’s new intermittent motion, side-seal machine will also be displayed at the event, as well as Tekkra’s 5100 Series bundler, which is capable of bundling up to 100 units in a minute.

Offering single-lane and dual-lane bundling, Tekkra's solution features servo flight bar, servo seal frame, and servo lane divider.

Other shrink systems at the event will include Texwrap's 914 box-motion vertical top-trim-sealer and 2215 entry level L-sealer.
