Village Farms International has introduced a new pouch design for its Super Toast cannabis brand, bringing an easy-pour format to Canada’s milled flower segment.
The company described this as the first use of this type of packaging in the category in the Canadian market.

The 7g pouches include an easy-pour opening for use with rolling papers or bowls, resealable colour-coded caps to help distinguish products, and a small window showing the ground flower inside.
Village Farms said the new pouch format will be introduced across all 7g Super Toast Ground Flower products in available markets in the coming weeks.
Village Farms global commercial president Paul Furfaro said: “This is the kind of innovation that makes things easier. Nobody wants to dig around in a bag or guess how much is left.
“Once consumers pour from something like this that actually works, they don’t want to go back. That’s the bar we’re trying to set with everything we touch and why Village Farms is proud to be a leader in innovations like this.”
The launch follows the start of Super Toast Ground Flower sales in Quebec, a move that makes Super Toast the first brand in Village Farms’ cannabis business to be sold nationally.
According to the company, Super Toast held 12% of Canada’s milled flower category year-to-date through July.
Super Toast first entered the market as a ground flower label in 2023 and has since expanded into vapes, pre-rolls, infused pre-rolls and edibles.
