VulCan Packaging has officially introduced its aluminium Toyo Ultimate Can (aTULC) beverage cans in North America.

The company claims that this product is designed to improve shelf life and enhance brand visibility while prioritising sustainability and modern design.

The company aims to produce sustainable, efficient, and consumer-friendly aluminium cans at its aTULC production line in North America.

aTULC technology removes the necessity for bisphenol-based coatings and water during the shaping process, resulting in a more eco-conscious product.

VulCan received assistance from Stolle Machinery Company in developing the new can technology.

Stolle Machinery Company CEO Michael Larson said: “Stolle appreciates the investment made by the team at VulCan Packaging to supply aTULC cans to the North American market.

“We are committed to providing the commercial and technical support necessary to advance this incredible technology that is elevating the quality of cans and boosting sustainability for the beverage industry.”

Based in Texas, US, VulCan Packaging caters to the growing needs of beverage brands across North America.

VulCan Packaging co-founder and managing director Alvin Widitora said: “This is more than a company launch – it’s the beginning of a shift in how beverage cans are made in the US.

“We are incredibly proud to bring this proven global technology to market at scale, giving our customers a sustainable, high-performance packaging solution built for modern brands and today’s consumers.

“Our partnership reflects a shared commitment to excellence and to ushering in the future of sustainable can manufacturing.”
