Glass bottle manufacturer Ardagh Group, Glass – North America has signed a contract extension agreement with wine and spirits company Waterloo Container.

Under the renewed partnership, Ardagh Group will continue to be the preferred wine bottle distributor of Waterloo Container to serve wineries in the eastern half of the US and Canada.

The two companies provide service offering to wineries in the Eastern US and Canada, including a full range of wine bottles in a variety of colours, sizes, styles and finishes.

Waterloo Container president and owner Bill Lutz said: “Our success in this industry is because we are different than other distributors. We are a service provider, and our goal is to share our experience, service, and expertise with our customers.

With the latest agreement, Ardagh and Waterloo Container completes 30 years of supporting the North American wine marketplace.

In addition to the service offering, the alliance provides glass printing and shrink sleeving services, corks and capsules, STELVIN closures and advanced repacking capabilities.

They also offer enhanced custom packaging design and engineering services, and robust customer service support.

Earlier last month, Ardagh Group, Glass – North America announced that it is supplying glass bottles for winery Rombauer Vineyards from its production facility in Sapulpa, Oklahoma.
