WaveGrip has introduced its WaveSafe multi-packing innovation, which is designed to provide an additional level of hygiene protection to cans throughout the entire supply chain.

WaveGrip has introduced its WaveSafe multi-packing innovation, which is designed to provide an additional level of hygiene protection to cans throughout the entire supply chain.

The new carrier style was unveiled at the Beverage Packing Congress in Brussels, Belgium.

A flexible multi-pack carrier for cans, WaveSafe has an extra layer of recyclable and photodegradable PE material over the top of the cans to ensure complete protection from dust and other potentially hazardous elements.

The company noted that the new carrier style will also enhance the brand value of the products by using multiple WaveGrip Colours to maximise on-shelf impact and consumer appeal.

This environmentally sustainable carrier style leverages on the conventional collation shrink to ensure the can’s hygiene but it utilises fewer materials and expense than the other cans.

Compatible with all WaveGrip applicators, WaveSafe also features standard benefits of other WaveGrip Carriers.

It can be used by beverage manufacturers.
