In February, the company introduced new Xaar 1002 GS40 for UV applications.

The new 1002 GS40 offers greyscale capabilities and can be used for printing UV spot varnish or applications requiring a high laydown at higher print speeds.

According to the company, the printhead can be used to add high-build, varnish and textured effects to labels, packaging, graphics and wood laminates.
