Inkjet technology specialist Xaar is set to expand its product range with the launch of a new Thin Film (TF) silicon MEMS technology platform at Messe Düsseldorf in Düsseldorf, Germany.
The company will showcase the Xaar Print Bar System, the Xaar 501 printhead, and the Xaar 1003 printhead at the exhibition.
The Xaar 1003 family of printheads features Xaar’s TF Technology, building on the market-leading Xaar 1002 and its predecessor, the original Xaar 1001.
The TF technology is expected to enhance printing and production for label or packaging companies.
Launched in 2015, the Xaar Print Bar System features single-pass inkjet capability for analogue web presses, enabling advanced digital printing for users.
The Print Bar System has been designed for personalised, variable data, special effects and short-run printing for a range of applications, such as labels and packaging.
