Digital printing technology provider Xeikon has introduced two new silver metallic toner colours to expand digital print applications for labels and packaging.
The new MatteSilver and PalladiumSilver toners are the first products in the new Xeikon Creative Colors toner group.

The eco-friendly Creative Colors toner range offers capabilities of flexo and offset inks, besides food safety and lightfastness.
The MatteSilver toner adds rich metal finish to the print substrate while PalladiumSilver, which is available for digital print in the Xeikon portfolio, features a speckled silver sparkle for extra textural interest.

The new MatteSilver and PalladiumSilver toners complement Xeikon’s toner existing portfolio, including standard colours, off-the-shelf spot colours, which allow for a gamut expansion beyond CMYK, and custom-spot colours.
This enables creation of unique shades based upon LAB values and technical colours, which perform specific function such as one-pass opaque white, UV-reflecting clear, or security colours that reflect to a specific spectrum or contain certain taggents.
