Multifunctional digital cutting systems producer Zünd is planning to present its new ultra high-performance digital cutting system at Drupa 2016 in Messe Düsseldorf, Germany.

The launch is in response to increasing demand from packaging manufacturers and print service providers.

Zünd’s new cutter is expected to double production throughput, while retaining output quality. The machine employs various technologies to provide flexibility in handling a range of materials.

The company plans to showcase the cutter and the board handling system (BHS) for fully automated board loading and unloading.

Zünd also plans to launch various high-productivity finishing solutions, including digital cutting solutions and intelligent automation at the event from 31 May to 10 June.
