Heidelberg India has completed the installation of an MK Masterwork Ecocut 106 CS die‑cutting and stripping machine at Saroj Art Printers’ Mumbai facility.
Saroj Art Printers, which specialises in pharmaceutical packaging and printing, operates a dedicated unit for mono cartons and folding cartons serving domestic and multinational pharma clients.
The Ecocut 106 CS is intended to support medium‑run offset pharmaceutical jobs, offering features which enhance precision and productivity.
The machine includes a built‑in stripping station to remove internal waste, non‑stop feeder and delivery systems that enable in‑line sheet checks, and quick make-ready capabilities.
It is compatible with a range of folding carton materials, from thin paper to heavier boards.
Heidelberg India provided sales and after‑sales support for the installation. The company characterised the deployment as part of its efforts to supply post‑press technology to India’s print and packaging sector.
Saroj Art Printers director Manoj Todi stated: "Our core focus is packaging and pharma printing, where precision and reliability are non-negotiable. For our post-press operations, we needed a die-cutter that could match our standards.
“The MK Masterwork Ecocut 106 CS fits that need perfectly. Installing the first Ecocut machine in India is a proud moment for us and marks a decisive step forward in enhancing efficiency, accuracy and innovation on our shopfloor."
