PAC Worldwide, a subsidiary of ProAmpac, is set to introduce e-commerce packaging products at PACK EXPO 2025, set to take place between 29 September to 1 October in Las Vegas in the US state of Nevada.

The company is focusing on sustainable packaging solutions, with a post-consumer recycled (PCR) bubble roll lined up for display.

It will also introduce a fixed release liner for its wicketed paper mailer.

The newly developed PCR bubble roll, which is pre-qualified for store drop-off, incorporates 50% post-consumer recycled content while maintaining the protective qualities of PAC's standard line.

The product is available in clear and customised or branded colours, and features a 3/16-inch bubble height.

PAC Worldwide is also expanding the application of its fixed release liner, initially used in the WicketPAC poly mailer, to its wicketed paper mailer.

This feature, currently in beta testing with high-volume e-commerce users, reportedly enhances throughput by between 20% and 50% compared to standard mailers.

The fixed release liner removes the need to peel and dispose of paper, reducing ergonomic strain on workers and minimising workplace waste.

PAC Worldwide employs 1,300 people across locations in the US, Mexico and Malaysia.

ProAmpac, based in Cincinnati, Ohio and owned by Pritzker Private Capital along with management and co-investors, is a global supplier of flexible packaging solutions.

PAC e-commerce president Thomas Parenteau stated: “Our customers are asking for packaging that performs better while aligning with sustainability objectives.

"By expanding proven innovations like the fixed release liner to paper and delivering PCR-based protective solutions, we’re enabling brands to meet today’s demands for efficiency, safety and evolving extended producer responsibility requirements.”
