US-based food storage containers company, Tupperware is set to release a new product line, Voila Glass, this September.

The new Voila Glass range, made from borosilicate glass, represents a shift from the brand's traditional plastic containers, introducing a series of non-toxic glass containers for style and functionality.

The Voila Glass line includes three containers, a 1.7 litres (l) circular container, a 1.6l square container, and a larger 3l rectangular container. Each has features such as grippy rims for easy handling, volume lines for precise measurement, and dishwasher safety.

These containers are equipped with lids that provide an airtight seal, which can be locked and unlocked via a vent, extending the freshness of food.

The versatility of the Voila Glass containers is also represented by their ability to withstand temperatures from -13 degrees Fahrenheit to 572 degrees Fahrenheit. This means they can be used for baking in the oven, storing in the refrigerator, or freezing for later use.

The containers are also microwave-safe, including the lids, which are designed with a steam vent for even reheating.

Tupperware's innovation extends to meal preparation and presentation. The Voila Glass line is crafted to reduce the time spent on cleaning up, allowing meals to be cooked, served, and stored in the same dish.

The brand has even developed recipes, such as Berry Cobbler Cake, that can be baked and served in a single container.

The Voila Glass line will be available for purchase on Tupperware's website starting 18 September.

In 2023, Tupperware Australia partnered with livestream shopping platform and creator marketplace buywith on a Shopify app.
