China-based Yinshili Packaging has obtained certification from the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for its frozen food pouches.
This confirms the company’s compliance with international food safety standards and paves the way for entry to the US market.
The certification ensures that the pouches are safe for direct contact with food and suitable for use from freezer storage to microwave or boiling conditions.
Yinshili stated that the approval “is a testament to the commitment of the company to safety, innovation and quality.”
The certification is significant, particularly for Yinshili’s China Top Frozen Food Pouches, developed to resist freezing, thawing and moisture exposure while protecting food from freezer burn.
Yinshili’s frozen food pouches are produced using multi-layer composite materials designed to maintain freshness and prevent damage from oxygen and moisture.
The products are compatible with both microwave and boil-in-bag heating methods.
Yinshili will continue to develop sustainable and intelligent packaging technologies and expand its overseas business.
The firm described the FDA certification as “more than just a regulatory achievement” and “a powerful statement of Yinshili’s global ambitions.”
Established in 2018, Yinshili Packaging has reported annual sales of over $10m.
The company employs 26 senior technologists and 30 skilled workers, each with more than ten years of experience.
