Modern offers a line of In-Mold Grain & Lamination (IMG &L) equipment for forming cover-stock material.

The equipment is a continuous shuttle machine that pulls and cuts the cover-stock material from a roll. The trimmed material is clamped, heated, and delivered to the forming station.

The 40t hydraulic forming station then forms the heated material against a grained tool to imprint the grain. Immediately following the forming process the material is then laminated onto an injection molded substrate.

The hydraulic forming station features servo-controlled proportional valves on each cylinder to ensure proper alignment in the press.
