During his time at the packaging company, he served in several senior posts across Sonoco’s packaging and industrial units, concentrating on operational delivery and business performance.
His appointment comes as Conner broadens its industrial packaging activities and extends its capabilities in wood, foam, corrugate and plastics.
Fuller has already started meeting with Conner’s leadership and operations teams, including visits to major sites where the company is introducing AI, automation and real-time monitoring into daily processes with the aim of improving throughput, quality and consistency.
Fuller commented: “I have been impressed with Conner’s growth, its operational footprint and its commitment to serving customers across multiple packaging materials.
“The opportunity to help guide the company as it continues to expand its packaging capabilities and scale its platform is an exciting one.”
The board appointment follows the recent arrival of Kevin Kenjarski as chief revenue officer, part of wider changes to Conner’s senior leadership structure.
Conner Industries CEO David Dixon said: “Rodger brings deep experience in packaging, operations and large-scale manufacturing environments.
“As we continue to grow our industrial packaging business and invest in operational excellence, his perspective will be invaluable in helping us execute at a higher level and deliver more value to our customers.”
In March 2025, Conner Industries acquired custom foam fabricator Kirkland Sales to increase its footprint in Texas, US.
Conner Industries supplies industrial packaging products and industrial wood in the US.
Its operations include industrial lumber and fully assembled custom pallets, crates, and packaging products made from wood, foam, corrugate and plastic, along with services designed around customer requirements.
