The closures are designed to improve product protection during fulfilment and delivery while also aligning with recycling and material reduction goals.
Aptar said all four have passed Amazon ISTA-6 testing and are available in post-consumer recycled (PCR) versions.
The Embrace flip-top closure aims to reduce the risk of impact damage, accidental opening and leakage in transit while keeping a premium appearance.
E-Simplicity is a flip-top design with a visible tear band and back-off resistant thread. Aptar said it is designed to show first opening and reduce the need for extra components such as liners and shrink bands.
Future Disc Top is a polyethylene mono-material disc top closure. It can enter recycling streams when used with PE or PET bottles and includes a locking ring to indicate whether it is open or closed.
E-Disc Top is a disc top closure with a concealed mechanism intended to keep products secure during shipping.
Aptar said it works similarly to a standard disc top after first opening and can also reduce the need for added packaging components.
Aptar Closures beauty, personal care, and home care market leader Maria Vázquez-Ricote said: “Today’s packaging must perform across every stage of the journey, from manufacturing and fulfilment to delivery and consumer use.
“E-commerce has fundamentally changed how packaging must function. Brands are looking for solutions that reduce excess packaging waste, simplify packaging and perform reliably in transit while also delivering a flawless, social media-proof unboxing experience for consumers, and this portfolio is designed to address those needs.”
