The blue colour is generated under proper seal conditions that include chemistry, heat and intimate contact.

During the sealing process, colour is produced as a result of the combinatory chemistry added to the packaging substrates.

The intensity of the blue matches with the seal strength and can be used to identify defects. Real-time measurements help in confirming the seal specification.

The colour gets reversed through ETO sterilisation so that there is no visual difference to the end user.
