Hybrid packaging supplier Berlin Packaging has expanded its Canadian presence with the acquisition of packaging supplier Consolidated Bottle.

Established in 1910, Consolidated Bottle specialises in supplying innovative plastic, glass and metal containers and closures serving various sectors including personal care, pharmaceutical, cannabis, food, beverage and industrial.

Financial details of the transaction remain undisclosed.

With the acquisition, the two companies can access Berlin Packaging’s design studio for custom packaging solutions and Consolidated Bottle’s injection moulding, decorating and shrink sleeving capabilities.

Following the acquisition, the merged company will be known as Consolidated Bottle Corporation, a Berlin Packaging company.

Berlin will retain all Consolidated Bottle employees and locations.
