Water-repellent paper bag Splashbag, created by Austria-based Mondi Industrial Bags along with cement producer LafargeHolcim, has gained traction in several other markets around the world following its launch in Europe.
Splashbag was launched in 2015 for the protection of moisture-sensitive filling goods, such as building materials, chemicals, and pharmaceuticals.

Based on Mondi’s Advantage Protect sack kraft paper, the bag can also be used in the packaging of materials that are frequently exposed to wet conditions or environments.

Advantage Protect provides a water-repellent surface and wet tensile strength to Splashbag, enabling it to maintain high-performance in wet environments.
