UK-based Macfarlane Packaging is to introduce a set of protective solutions at the ongoing Packaging Innovations event at the NEC in Birmingham, UK.
The company, along with Print On, will launch the UK’s first print-on-demand branding service for its off-the-shelf range of bubble-lined mailers at the event.

Macfarlane Packaging marketing director Laurel Granville said: “We work hard to find protective packaging solutions for our customers which not only ensure the product arrives safely and efficiently but also delivers a great experience for the consumer.
“We will have all these products and many other protective packaging on our stand, plus our team of experts, who will be on hand to offer advice on any packaging issues.”
In addition, Macfarlane, in collaboration with Sealed Air, will unveil new Bubble Wrap IB Expressions, an inflatable cushioning product that is available in a range of colours and patterns.
The company will also launch Postal Cube, a new concept to reduce the wastage and storage of regular cardboard postal tubes.

By GlobalDataThe square-shaped cube is provided in a flat state on a roll and can be dispensed and cut to size as required.
Macfarlane will further introduce a new fully automated inflation solution, AirsacRapidFlow, which is designed to protect very fragile goods.
The recyclable AirsacRapidFlow solution has been designed for high-demand packaging operations, increasing inflation time and enabling goods to be dispatched quickly.
Furthermore, the packaging material distributor will launch a new range of colours, GeamiWrapPak, for eco-friendly protective paper packaging at the event.
GeamiWrapPak has been jointly developed by Ranpak and Macfarlane.
