Clondalkin Flexible Packaging Bury has expanded its flexible packaging product range with new stand-up pouches.
The new retortable, microwaveable pouches are designed to offer a lightweight, convenient, durable and environmentally friendly alternative to traditional packaging, such as glass jars and aluminium cans.
Available in different shapes and sizes, the pouches feature laser perforation for easy opening, velcro zippers for reclosure, and grips for easy handling.
The solution also features modified atmosphere packaging (MAP) technology, which increases the shelf-life of the packaged product.
Clondalkin Flexible Packaging flexibles group sales manager Chris Button said: “More and more brands are turning to flexible packaging solutions such as stand-up pouches which offer sustainable, user-friendly solutions as well as food protection and extended shelf life.
“We’re seeing growing demand for our retort pouches and pouches that feature modified atmosphere packaging technology (MAP), both of which offer extended product shelf life.”
