UK-based Jaffabox has completed an investment at its cardboard box manufacturing plant, located near Birmingham International Airport.
As part of the multi-million pound investment, the new MHI Evol 100 casemaker was installed to improve throughput at the site.

The newly installed system will also allow Jaffabox to offer higher volumes, high-quality printing and closer folding accuracy to its customers.
Jaffabox technical director John Amyes said: "About 18 months ago we decided that our existing casemakers needed to be replaced. Although they were still producing good quality boxes, they were showing their age in terms of throughput speeds. So we set out to install the fastest and highest quality casemaker available."

By GlobalDataIn addition, Jaffabox has installed a Corrpal high-speed automatic palletiser, an Alliance prefeeder and a new Mosca Uatri bundle tying machine in order to fully automate its box making system.
The company has expanded its box-making facility in the UK by 40,000ft² to make room for the new equipment.
Jaffabox recently installed BHS corrugators to increase production at the facility.
