Packaging equipment manufacturer Marchesini Group intends to set up a new unit in Moscow, Russia, to strengthen its presence in the country.
New facilities for the unit, known as Marchesini Group Rus, will be opened in January 2016.

The proposed centres will allow the firm to provide prompt and customised assistance for the Russian consumers to meet the rising product demands in the country.
The firm will also manufacture some instruments at the centres to analyse the customer’s objectives and priorities for standalone machines and complete lines for packaging pharmaceuticals.
The evaluation is expected to assist the firm in strengthening relationships with its Russian partners.
Marchesini said: "This customer-oriented strategy will of course be put into practice by our loyal team in Russia, who works for the representation agency IES International, which has contributed over the last 30 years in giving the Marchesini brand a strong and reliable name in Russia.

The firm intends to serve new and existing customers from the new branch, which is scheduled to be inaugurated at the Pharmtech trade show in Moscow from 24 to 27 November.
Marchesini also intends to unveil its FSP 05, a machine for filling and stoppering disposable syringes, with integrated weight control system at the trade show.
