Anjou Etiquettes, a family-owned label converter located in Montreuil Bellay, France, has purchased the BOBST DIGITAL MASTER 340 to help streamline its label production.

The all-in-one label press is designed to handle print runs ranging from 1,000 to 15,000 linear metres or more and can achieve a full native resolution of 1200dpi x 1200dpi at a speed of 100 metres per minute.

Anjou co-manager Laurent Bossy said: “The BOBST DIGITAL MASTER 340 is the ideal solution for the current challenges. We run the press every day, and I must say I’m impressed by its print quality and speed.”

The new label press can integrate BOBST-designed and supplied modules, including a varnishing unit or a semi-rotary die-cutting module.

In addition, converters can benefit from the DIGITAL MASTER 340 press’ modularity and on-site upgradability advantages.

Anjou will also benefit from BOBST ACCUCHECK, the built-in calibration and quality control module, which manages head calibration, alignment, and registration.

BOBST said that the machine was delivered, installed, and made operational in less than a week.

The service team from BOBST also trained all of Anjou’s employees in order to use the machine correctly.

Bossy added: “We chose BOBST for their true essence of partnership and professionalism of their teams. The ramp-up process was seamless, without any pressure. The new press integrated straight into our facilities and processes.”

Earlier this month, BOBST signed an agreement with Asteria Labels & Packaging Group to provide some of its Digital Master all-in-one presses.
